This is the largest hotel in Fontainebleau, and probably the one with the most to offer outside the room. The Mercure Demeures de Campagne occupies a former building in the Rue Royale, in the heart of Fontainebleau. 10 minutes' walk from the Château. The “Demeure de Campagne” concept is an alternative to the classic hotel: here you are invited to take over the premises as if it were your own country home.
A hotel where you don't just sleep
That's what really sets this establishment apart. The garden offers a tennis court, There's also a pétanque area, a barbecue and even a vegetable garden.
