Montebello Street, Inalis, the world cuisine restaurant, has decided to let you take part in a competition to win, perhaps, the whole meal. Not just yours: everyone’s at your table. The concept fits on a poster, can be grasped in thirty seconds, and gives you a brilliant reason to pop in for lunch (even though you’d have come back anyway, because the food’s brilliant! 😋).

The principle, in five steps

  1. You’re coming for lunch at Inalis, on a weekday lunchtime (the game isn’t on at the weekend).
  2. You’ll leave with your dice. It’s yours – keep it safe: it’s your ticket.
  3. Every time you visit, you bring him back and you try your luck by rolling the house dice.
  4. One throw per table, not one per guest. Choose your best thrower.
  5. Two chameleons? You’ve won. The meal’s on us – for the whole table.

Since the roll applies to the whole table, the calculation is quickly done: Coming sixth rather than second doesn’t affect your chances, but it makes a big difference to what you win.
