‘Health on a Plate’ cooking competition at Les Cuisines du Bréau in Fontainebleau (18 November 2026)

After weeks of talking about protein, healthy fats and hidden sugars, we deserve a grand finale. The «Health on a Plate» cooking competition» brings the cycle to a close’workshops on eating better and living better organised by the association Les Colibris Solidaires at Bréau Kitchens, Rue des Rossignols in Fontainebleau, from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm.

The idea: a healthy, tasty meal

Each candidate prepares and presents a starter, a main course or a dessert, as desired, which must be healthy, balanced and tasty. The jury looks at the creativitythe taste and the’nutritional balance, and appreciates it when people highlight fresh, seasonal produce by minimising waste. Presentation of the dish, tasting by the judging panel, then results and prize-giving ceremony at the end of the competition.

A jury with considerable influence

The jury comprises professionals and the mayor of Fontainebleau. This ensures we take the exercise seriously, without losing the friendly atmosphere that has become the hallmark of these workshops.

What’s to be gained

Le first batch is a Tefal Cake Factory, the cake shop that also makes savoury treats. The second batch is a Tefal Ingenio All-in-One set : five stackable pots, their lids and a removable handle; suitable for all hobs and made in France. Everything you need to keep cooking healthily long after the competition is over.

To the Bréau’s teaching kitchens, rue des Rossignols, 77300 Fontainebleau, in the Bréau neighbourhood.

Free entry : the project is funded by the Seine-et-Marne CPAM (the Health Insurance Scheme), with the support of the Town of Fontainebleau.
