Le Monument Café is a café-restaurant in the very heart of the Château de FontainebleauPlace Charles de Gaulle, 77300 Fontainebleau. Access to the restaurant is separate from the château, making it an ideal spot for a gourmet break during a stroll through the gardens or after exploring Fontainebleau's heritage.

A site steeped in history

Open since 2022 following the renovation of the château's restaurant facilities, the restaurant is part of an initiative to highlight the architectural and culinary heritage of the château. The décor is inspired by the Napoleonic era, with contemporary furnishings, colours and light fittings all in harmony with the history of the place. Two terraces offer breathtaking views over the gardens and the Etang aux Carpes.
