Fuumi is an authentic Japanese restaurant in the 39 rue de France, Fontainebleau, created in 2016 by Michelin-starred chef Kunihisa Goto. This establishment offers a unique culinary experience based on teppanyaki, The restaurant is located in the heart of the city, where the dishes are prepared directly by chef Kenta Iyori in front of the guests on a hot plate.

Specialities and cuisine

The restaurant stands out for its traditional Japanese specialities : okonomiyaki (thick pancakes topped with cabbage and pork), gyozas, ramen in bonito tonkotsu broth, and sashimi. Meat lovers can enjoy Tajima wagyu beef and teppanyaki seared scallops. The menu also features original creations such as slices of shimeji grilled tofu beef and edamame ginger rice croquettes.

Formulas and menus

At lunchtime, the Teishoku menu at €25 in the form of a bento including a dish of your choice, tsukemono, white rice, miso soup and the chef's dessert. In the evening, a discovery menu at €42 allows you to savour the chef's creations. For the full experience, the €98 Teppanyaki menu must be booked 24 hours in advance.

Atmosphere and service

The establishment offers a friendly atmosphere with the option of sitting at the counter facing the chef or in the main dining room decorated in shades of indigo blue. A terrace is available in fine weather, and a vaulted cellar in the basement completes the space. The service is renowned for its quality and detailed explanations of each dish.
