The menu changes regularly, sometimes from one day to the next, depending on the market and the chef's inspiration. It's seasonal bistronomic cooking, without pretension but with real expertise in seasonings, spices and herbs.

The story

Before Samois, Virginie and Anders had co-founded the Café A in the 10th arrondissement of Paris, a place that combined art, gastronomy and music in a former 17th-century convent. The need to get back to basics, on the banks of the Seine and on the edge of the forest, brought them here with their two children. Today, Maison Sumac has become the heart of the village: people come here for the morning coffee, the evening aperitif, the vinyl records that Anders spins, or simply to have a good time.
