Located 18 Horn Street On a quiet street in the centre of Fontainebleau, Bar'Back is a steakhouse restaurant which combines a warm atmosphere with high-quality cuisine. The décor evokes the charm of a contemporary pub, creating a friendly atmosphere that is ideal for business lunches and dinners with friends.

The menu features a selection of exceptional French meats, including Black Angus ribeye steak, beef skirt steak with its distinctive flavour, and cuts that vary according to availability and season. Connoisseurs will also appreciate specialities such as veal kidney flambéed with port, frogs' legs with parsley sauce, and breaded Capelin pork tenderloin.

Beyond grilled meats, Bar'Back offers a varied menu: Homemade fish and chips with tartar sauce, sesame duck breast tataki and truffle mayonnaise, cod ceviche, and the famous Black Burger Bar made with black bread from the Dardonville bakery and Angus mince. Side dishes include homemade chips cooked in beef fat, aligot and seasonal vegetables.

The carefully selected wine list perfectly complements the dishes, with wines from different French regions available by the glass or bottle. Homemade desserts complete the experience: crème brûlée, brioche perdue, profiteroles and artisanal ice cream from Fontainebleau.

The restaurant has a pleasant terrace and welcomes visitors Tuesday to Saturday, lunch and dinner. Reservations are recommended, especially at weekends, given the limited number of seats.
