At 32 Rue Rémy Dumoncel, just a stone’s throw from Avenue Franklin Roosevelt, the Press: Patricia Bourdin’s Bookshop opens at 7.30 am. It’s one of those shops that combines a range of services and which the neighbourhood ends up using every day: the morning paper, stationery, and two services that make it a real hub, a La Poste Relais collection point and a parcel collection point.
Today’s newspapers, stationery and treats
It includes the newspapers and magazines, including the regional press, alongside a stationery section selling stationery, cards and stamps, and a sweet counter. The shop is designed for quick purchases : you go in, you pick up your items, and you leave. Card and contactless payments are accepted, and both the entrance and the car park are wheelchair accessible.
The La Poste Relais counter in Avon
The bookshop houses a La Poste Relais collection point, listed by La Poste under the name Avon Presse Librairie Bourdin. There, you can buy postal and parcel services, to post a letter or a small item, send a Colissimo or Chronopost parcel, and collect a parcel or a letter. The shop also serves as a Mondial Relay parcel collection and drop-off point.
Timetables tailored to the neighbourhood’s rhythm
The shop is open to the public Monday to Friday from 7.30 am to 12.30 pm, then from 3.30 pm to 7 pm, which leaves time to pop in before work and on the way home. The Saturday morning, it opens at 8 am. Closed on Sundays.
