During the All Saints’ Day holidays, the gallery Fontainebleau turns her pencils into tourist guides. The work experience placement «Fontainebleau in drawings, from the street to the page» invites the children of Ages 7 to 13 to discover the town’s heritage by drawing it, on three consecutive mornings, at the 93 rue Grande.
The idea is simple and clever: to learn to observe your town before putting it down on paper. Façades, staircases, slate roofs, details of the Rue Grande or the château: the children explore Fontainebleau in a fun way, pencil in hand, and take their creations home with them.
The work placement takes place from Monday 26 to Wednesday 28 October, from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm, or A total of 7.30 hours of drawing. The group is limited to 12 children, framed by a qualified activity leader, and the Afternoon tea is on the house every day. The price is 100 euros for the three days, with online booking via the gallery’s website.
Fontaineblow is a gallery specialising in the’urban art, which also organises murals, exhibitions and creative workshops throughout the year. To book a place, visit the drawing workshop for children at the Fontaineblow Gallery.
