FLC is back at the Mecano, rue Montebello, for a new edition of its Jam session. Following on from the February event, which really got the bar buzzing, the series returns this Tuesday 14 April with a mix of jazz and contemporary music in a relaxed atmosphere.
The evening gets off to a gentle start with The Belly Fountains, who will be providing the opening act with some aperitif-style jazz. The perfect opportunity to settle down with a drink and let yourself be carried away before the stage really comes to life.
After the jazz drinks reception, it’s time for the Jam itself. Students from vocals, guitar, bass and drums from FLC, coached by their teachers, get together on stage to perform in front of a live audience. The repertoire is drawn from current music : pop, rock, pop music. That’s what makes these evenings so appealing: there’s a great atmosphere, with the audience cheering them on and the musicians taking pride in performing on stage under real-life conditions. No fuss, just shared enjoyment.
A few words are enough, I reply personally.
