Want to learn how to cook like in a Michelin-starred restaurant? The FLC offers a Italian cooking and pastry workshop hosted by Martin Chollet, a demi-chef de partie in a Michelin-starred Parisian restaurant, and her partner Pauline Mirland. An event designed for adults who want to take their skills behind the stove a step further.
The participants will be working on two demanding but accessible dishes. Firstly lemon & ricotta ravioli with sage butter You make your own homemade ravioli dough, stuff it with a ricotta cheese delicately flavoured with lemon, and top it all off with a sage butter that makes all the difference. Then a strawberry & verbena tiramisu, A reinvention of the Italian classic with the freshness of strawberries and the aromatic notes of verbena - a light and irresistible dessert.
The course starts at 9h30 with food being prepared until 12.30pm. At midday, it's time for shared lunch from 12:30 to 1:30: everyone enjoys their creations in a convivial atmosphere. Everyone goes home with some of their creations to prolong the pleasure at home. You'll need a rolling pin, a standard empty jam jar and a food container.
Nestled in the 6 rue du Mont Ussy, just a stone's throw from the centre of Fontainebleau, Fontainebleau Leisure Culture has been organising workshops and courses for a number of years, and these have become a regular feature of local life.
