«This is the story of a poem found at the foot of a street lamp, which speaks of a journey and a search for one’s true self. It is the story of Sido and Rémi.» The Friday 16 October 2026 at 8.30 pm, the company CaminaO presents «Camina-e» at Municipal theatre.
The theatre hosts a company for several days so that they can work on site, and the end of the residency is when they showcase their progress. It’s not quite a premiere, and that’s precisely what makes the evening so interesting: you get to see a production in the making, still in flux, and the discussion with the artists that follows has a different depth to a traditional stage-side Q&A.
Jean-Marc Descotes and Hélène Morzuch are based locally, and Hélène Morzuch also works with L’Âne Vert, making her a familiar face on the Bellifonte scene. Supporting a local theatre company at this stage of its work is exactly what a municipal theatre is for.
The line-up is unique and much shorter than that of the other shows this season: 15 € in the first category (€10 reduced), 10 € in the second tier (€5 reduced), 5 € in Year 9 (€2.50 concession), excluding hire fees. One hour and fifteen minutes, suitable for all ages. At that price, there’s no excuse.
