The 4.30 pm snack is often when good intentions go out the window. The Tuesday 13 October, from 5.30 pm to 7 pm, the association Compost and Us offers a «batch cooking» workshop» at the Maison des Associations, to learn how to prepare all the Homemade snacks for the whole week, and to store them properly.
The workshop is led by the head chef Émilie, from Chez Elemiah. The aim can be summarised in three promises: save time, save energy and balanced afternoon snack. Cooking once for five days also means turning the oven on just once and sending less packaging to the bin, which is why the workshop is part of Fontainebleau en Transition.
A apron and several food containers, such as jars or airtight containers: you’ll take home whatever you’ve prepared.
Workshop free of charge, limited to 8 adults from Bellifontaine. Registration is compulsory by email to the City of Fontainebleau’s ecological transition initiative, stating your town of residence. Maison des Associations, 6 rue du Mont-Ussy.
