It is Yalda, their daughter born in Paris, who tells the story of their exile, their struggle for freedom, their love for their homeland and their hope of returning. She navigates between two worlds: a family of uprooted people who never complain, and French society, where she is trying to find her place. The story of a heritage that is both loved and hated, and a play that resonates powerfully for as long as Iran continues to rise up.
