The Axel is a gourmet restaurant Michelin-starred located at 43 rue de France in Fontainebleau, just a few minutes' walk from the imperial château. Run by Japanese chef Kunihisa Goto and her partner Vanessa Blondeau, The establishment offers French cuisine with Japanese influences in a refined and elegant setting.
The chef revisits French classics while subtly integrating Japanese products and techniques, creating a unique culinary experience. The exceptional wine list includes 700 references carefully selected by Vanessa Blondeau.
The establishment is part of a complex of three houses side by side: the gourmet restaurant L'Axel, the Japanese brasserie Fuumi and patisserie A Pâtisserie KG.
