L'Éclat du Vin is a stand-alone wine cellar located in Fontainebleau, at 48 Rue de France. The shop is run by Aude Clerc, a trained and passionate wine merchant who favours committed estates that respect their terroirs and traditional craftsmanship.
Aude's selection covers a wide range of red, white and rosé wines, sourced from France's major wine-growing regions as well as a few foreign estates. The emphasis is on conscientious producers, wines with character and bottles that are equally suited to everyday meals and more festive occasions.
In addition, the shop offers a beautiful range of champagnes and one carefully selected spirits Cognac, Armagnac, sake, gin, rum, pisco, tequila... as well as a particularly rich selection of whiskies for enthusiasts.
Aude regularly organises themed tastings, developed in collaboration with the Head Chef Virginie Galan, around’food and wine pairings. These gatherings provide an opportunity to discover new areas, compare styles and engage in free discussion in a friendly atmosphere.
Through her personalised advice, Aude helps everyone find the ideal bottle: for a gift, a special dinner, an aperitif with friends or to start building a wine cellar.
