Visit green zone (around the centre of Fontainebleau), you can pay for your parking not only by the hour, but also in the form of package. It's ideal if you're staying for several hours, a day or a few days: you avoid having to take out a ticket each time.

The green zone pass allows you to park longer to a degressive rate, compared with hourly parking or the orange zone (city centre).

• Full day from 9am to 7pm
• 7 days Practical for short stays or missions
• 15 days useful for internships, work placements or long stays
• 1 month (resident season ticket) Unlimited parking with proof of entitlement

💶 Indicative prices

Rates may vary slightly from zone to zone, but as a guide :

• ½ day: approx. 3,50 € à 4 €
• Full day: approx. 6 € à 7 €
• 7 days: approx. 20 € à 25 €

• On the application PayByPhone (choose the green zone and the desired duration)
• Or directly to the’time/date stamp (payment by credit card or cash)

💡 Good to know

• The Sundays, Mondays and public holidays remain free, whatever package you choose.
• In the green zone, the packages allow you to exceed 2 hours authorised in the orange zone.
• The green zone pass is a good alternative if you're staying for several hours but don't want to pay for a covered car park (€21.20 per day).

🚫 What is an FPS (Forfait Post-Stationnement)?

Le FPS, or Post-Parking Package, Since 2018, the parking charge has replaced the old parking fine. It is not a fine: it is a additional fee which the City charges when a paid parking space has not been paid for or exceeds the authorised parking time.

• ⛔ Non-payment → issue of an FPS by the automated control system (LAPI vehicle) or a municipal officer.
• ⏰ Overtime → FPS as well.

💶 Amount at Fontainebleau

The amount of the FPS is set at 40 €, reduced to 25 € if the payment is made within 4 days following the issue. These amounts are determined by municipal decree.
