A historic golf course in the heart of the forest

The Fontainebleau Golf Course, recognised as one of the most beautiful courses in France, offers a real adventure among rocks, heather, broom and bunkers. Opened in 1909, it is one of the oldest golf courses in France. It is located in the heart of the Fontainebleau forest, 800 metres from the town, on the former imperial hunting grounds. The course is characterised by its relatively narrow fairways, lined with trees of various species. It is defended by 103 fine sand bunkers and thick copses, which give it its charm and difficulty, offering a symphony of colours and scents depending on the season.
