Dig out your best outfits and your ball shoes: Fontainebleau is launching its very first tea dance. Le Communal Centre for Social Action (CCAS) is opening, for the occasion, the village hall at the Municipal theatre for a festive afternoon, reserved for Bellifontains aged 60 and over.
The programme has something to suit every taste: a waltz to make one’s partner twirl, from the rock to have a bit of a dance, or simply a drink and a few treats to be savoured whilst listening to beautiful melodies.
You don’t need to be an experienced dancer: all that matters is the desire to share a warm, friendly moment. It’s also a lovely opportunity to catch up with familiar faces or make new friends as winter approaches.
Registration is compulsory with the CCAS, either by telephone on 01 77 03 81 81 or by email to the address of the CCAS in Fontainebleau.
A few words are enough, I reply personally.
