The Esquisse Hôtel Culturel in Barbizon is continuing its fine musical programme with a piano aperitif evening the Friday 17 April 2026. Keyboard controls : Armand Frydman, a pianist and composer with a singular career path.
Trained in classical piano with’Yvonne Loriod and from Colette Zerha at the École Normale de Musique de Paris, Armand Frydman went on to explore composing for the cinema alongside Pierre Janssen, He also wrote the scores for the films of Claude Chabrol. His career has taken him from Musical Research Group (GRM) to the collaboration with the Czech violinist Joseph Suk and the Bolshoi Orchestra for the album Atlas.

Nestled in the Grande Rue de Barbizon, L'Esquisse regularly hosts intimate concerts in a setting steeped in artistic history. The apéro piano, a convivial formula that has become a signature of the venue, allows you to discover artists in a warm atmosphere where music and the art of living come together.
