A Sunday afternoon of brass music at the Protestant church in Fontainebleau, for a good cause: the Fontainebleau Lions Club calls on the Pays de Fontainebleau Brass Quintet, made up of musicians from the Fontainebleau Wind Band, to perform in aid of the charity ABC Domino for Madagascar.
The programme has something for everyone: classical, film music and jazz. Brass instruments echoing through a temple: the sort of concert where you recognise a theme in the space of a single phrase, and which is best enjoyed with the family.
The proceeds will go to ABC Domino, a French charity founded in 2004, which works to promote children’s education in villages in southern Madagascar. The Lions Club also donates a refreshments during the interval, which is no bad thing.
Entrance to 12 €, 10 € For children up to the age of 15; free for those under 10. For further information and to register, please contact the Lions Club by email at [email protected] or on 06 80 10 20 91.
A few words are enough, I reply personally.
