L'Esquisse Hôtel Culturel in Barbizon opens the doors of its new exhibition with a opening on Thursday 23 April 2026 at 6pm. It's a not-to-be-missed event for art lovers who frequent this venue, which has become a cultural landmark in the heart of the painters' village.
Following on from the exhibition devoted to the Flemish luminist painter Edmond Verstraeten, L'Esquisse is unveiling a new artistic offering in parallel with its exhibition of the same name until 28 September. The vernissage is an opportunity to preview the works, meet the artists and share a convivial moment in the unique setting of this cultural hotel.
Located at 18 Grande Rue, L'Esquisse, at the very heart of Barbizon's historic painters' trail, continues the village's artistic tradition by regularly hosting temporary exhibitions that bring together contemporary art and the village's pictorial heritage. The opening is in free admission, in keeping with the venue's tradition of openness.
