Le Actua’litté Event is the book club of the Charité Royale Media Library, 15 Rue Royale, open to teenagers and adults. Next session on Saturday 17 October 2026 at 10.00 am.
The main point of the meeting can be summed up in three words: a sneak preview of what’s new. Librarians report on what has just happened or what is about to happen, and the discussions focus on the’literary news, over a cup of tea or coffee.
For those who read a lot but have no one to talk to about it, that’s an hour well spent. And for those who never know what to read next, one session is usually enough to fill their reading list for two months.
