It’s rare to see a show before it’s actually been created. Yet that is precisely what the Théâtre municipal de Fontainebleau with this end of residency : after a week’s work on stage, Axel Drhey and the company The Black Sheep open the doors to their new creation, «Towards infinity…».

The company is no stranger to those who love lively, accessible theatre: we have them to thank, in particular, for Cyrano(s), Titanic, written and directed by Axel Drhey, or Wanted notice, based on Corneille’s *L’Illusion comique*. With this new play, they are here to test the connection with the audience.

The programme includes a few excerpts from the staged reading, rehearsals on stage and, above all, an interactive experience centred on the end of the performance, conceived as a festive and participatory moment that could spread throughout the auditorium and continue right up until the audience leaves the theatre. Together with their choreographer, the actors are exploring ways to gently break down the barrier between the stage and the audience. For one morning, the audience members become, accomplices and guinea pigs of a creation that is still taking shape.

A great idea for curious visitors, families and anyone who’s ever wondered how a show is put together. The theatre opens at 9h30, free entry on bookings at the Municipal Theatre box office.
