Behind the stars, there they are, in the background. The ones we hardly notice. «The Extras», the play by Delphine de Vigan, finally gives them a voice, and it is the in-house amateur theatre group, the New Tréteaux de l’Âne Vert, who is wearing it, the Saturday 7 November at 7.30 pm and the Sunday 8 November at 5.00 pm.
The extras wait, watch and dream. But what happens when those who usually remain in the shadows decide to speak out? With humour, emotion and a keen insight into our society, Delphine de Vigan gives a voice to those we never notice. A sensitive and deeply human play, which resonates particularly strongly when performed by amateur actors.
