L'Esquisse Cultural Hotel in Barbizon opens its salon for an evening of chamber music with the Bothemon Trio, on Thursday 26 March 2026 at 7.30pm.

On the programme for this intimate evening are four great names in classical music: Bach, Dvořák, Bizet and Fauré. A repertoire that crosses eras and styles, from Baroque rigour to French Romantic sensibility, via the Slavic melodies of Dvořák and the Mediterranean temperament of Bizet. The Trio Bothemon knows how to make the most of these contrasts in a setting that lends itself perfectly to them.

L'Esquisse, a former coaching inn transformed into a cultural hotel, is the ideal setting for this type of concert: a salon on a human scale, where the closeness between musicians and audience gives chamber music its full dimension. Barbizon, the village of painters, has never been a stranger to art in all its forms.
