There are some parties that people are still talking about a year later. The one on Saturday 12 September 2026 is part of it even before it has taken place: for the second year running, electronic music is taking centre stage at the château de Fontainebleau, and this time it’s the duo ARTBAT who is in charge, from 7 pm to 2 am.
La Cour de la Fontaine is undoubtedly the most beautiful spot on the estate for this sort of performance: the façade of the Belle Cheminée wing on one side, the carp pond on the other, and that quality of open-air acoustics that no concert hall can replicate. When night falls and the lights come on, casting their glow over the 16th-century stonework, the effect is hard to describe to someone who wasn’t there.
The Ukrainian duo, comprising Artur and Batish, has, in just a few years, become one of the most recognisable names in the melodic techno European. Their remixes are played at all the major festivals, and their sets are characterised by long, carefully crafted builds that work particularly well in an open-air venue. They will be playing live their best-known songs.
The evening is organised by Gardens, which organises this type of event at heritage sites. Admission is restricted to Aged 18 and over, the website is entirely cashless (credit card or mobile payment only), and you are not allowed to bring your own food or drink. Prices start at 49 €. At the time of writing, the ticket office is operating on a waiting list basis: it’s best to sign up early.
