Based in Fontainebleau since 1957, INSEAD (European Institute of Business Administration) is a world-renowned management school, considered one of the best business schools internationally. Its European campus covers eight hectares on the edge of the Fontainebleau forest, on Boulevard de Constance, close to the city centre.
The school began its activities in the Château de Fontainebleau before moving to its current campus in 1967. Today, INSEAD has a modern and functional architecture with 29 lecture halls, two restaurants, a bar, a bookshop, a specialised library and a fully equipped gym. The campus welcomes annually 165 professors and over 1,300 students from all over the world.
The training programme is structured around several prestigious courses: the Master of Business Administration ranked number one in Europe by the Financial Times, the Master's Degree in Management lasting 14 to 16 months and aimed at young graduates, the Master's degree in Finance, as well as several Executive MBA programmes for experienced executives. The school also offers a doctoral programme and a wide range of continuing education in Executive Education covering finance, marketing, entrepreneurship and innovation.
INSEAD stands out for its international dimension with three main campuses in Fontainebleau, Singapore and Abu Dhabi, allowing students to benefit from a unique multicultural experience. Programmes alternate between these different locations and include optional study trips to China and the United States.
The Fontainebleau campus is the subject of a renovation project aimed at modernising the infrastructure while preserving the remarkable 1970s architecture, with the integration of green roofs and photovoltaic panels for an environmentally responsible approach.
