At FLC, it’s not all about lectures and film discussions. The association’s festive event is back: the Maison des Associations brings out the disco ball and turns into a dance floor for «FLC puts on a show», this year under the slogan «Let’s be colourful together!».
The instruction can be summed up in a few words: some brightly coloured tops. Fuchsia, lemon yellow, apple green – everything that’s been gathering dust at the back of the wardrobe is finally having its moment in the spotlight. On the mic, Cédric, a lecturer at FLC, leads the singing and sets the pace for the evening.
The highlight of the evening is a a dance routine performed by everyone together. To avoid being the one who goes left when everyone else in the room goes right, FLC has posted a Video tutorial for the choreography of ‘FLC fait son show’. A few practice runs between the sofa and the coffee table, and you’ll be ready.
FLC is once again partnering with the Town of Fontainebleau to support the Telethon. On site, a a ballot box and a QR code enable you to make a donation to the’AFM-Telethon. An evening where every dance step counts a little more than usual.
The evening is reserved for FLC members and their families. She is free of charge, subject to booking, via the FLC’s online booking service is making a splash. The buffet is a potluck affair: to take part, everyone brings a drink and a sweet or savoury dish which you eat without cutlery. Note from the organiser: please leave your crisps at home.
Not a member yet? FLC is also opening its doors to everyone this autumn, with the Giulio Lucchini’s lecture on Magellanthe Film screening and discussion: «A Fistful of Dollars» at the L’Ermitage cinema and the exhibition «Encounter with the Forest» by Cathy Lagarrigue, with free admission at the Maison des Associations.
A few words are enough, I reply personally.
