Le Barbizon Trail Over the years, it has become a major event for runners who love the great outdoors, and the proof is simple: for this year’s edition of the Sunday 4 October 2026, the Registration has been closed for several months. That leaves the best role for those without a race number: that of a supporter.
The little ones kick things off, and that’s often where the atmosphere is at its most cheerful at the finish line.
This year, the race is taking place in partnership with Pink October and the League Against Cancer. A good reason for everyone to come out in force along the route – in pink if possible.
Barbizon lies on the edge of the Forest of Fontainebleau, and that is the very essence of the race. Once the last runners have finished, Barbizon’s Grande Rue, with its arcades and terraces, is the perfect place to round off the morning.
