Presentation

Le Saturday 12 September, from 10 am to 12 noon, the Community Centre, 6 Rue du Mont Ussy, is hosting the cookery workshop «How to choose the right cheese», organised by the association Compost and Us. Two hours to work out what to put on your platter, and what you can do with it next in the kitchen.

A cheesemonger, a chef and eight people

The morning is divided into two parts. First, a a presentation and tasting of regional cheeses with Christophe Lefebvreand Terroirs de France in Fontainebleau. Then some culinary preparations led by the head chef Karim Yemmi. So we leave with some guidelines to help us choose, and with what we’ve cooked.

Things to pack in your bag: an apron and a food container, such as an airtight container.

Getting there

The workshop is free of charge and limited to eight adults. Registration is compulsory; please email [email protected], stating your town of residence. With eight seats, it’s a simple calculation.

The workshop is being organised as part of a partnership between Fontainebleau in Transition, Compost and Us and the Local Social Action Centre.
