For two days, the horses are presented in hand in front of a expert jury, which accurately assesses the characteristics of the Arab type: the morphology, and neck, the harmony of the lines, the quality and fluidity of the movement and the paces, not to mention the charisma of the horse, what breeders call «type». A discipline where poise, elegance and refinement are everything.
You don't have to be a breeder to enjoy the show: the beauty of the Thoroughbred Arabian, considered one of the most elegant horses in the world, speaks to everyone. History buffs will appreciate the wink: the favourite war horse of Napoleon, the famous Marengo, He was himself an Arab thoroughbred. Brought back from Egypt, he carried the Emperor from Austerlitz to Waterloo, and his skeleton is now kept at the National Army Museum in London. This is a great opportunity to discover a more confidential facet of the equestrian world of Bellifontaine, on one of the most beautiful equestrian sites in Europe.
