Once a year, the Philippe Mahut Stadium in Fontainebleau welcomes all the young talent, experienced athletes and international guests who make up the French top-level athletics scene. The event takes place on Seine-et-Marne International Athletics Meeting, The fifth edition of the Friday 29 May 2026.

The event has grown fast. Born of an initiative by the Département to provide a showcase for top-level sport in the heart of Seine-et-Marne, in just a few seasons it has established itself as one of the major Paris Region meetings of the late spring. The Fontainebleau track, as seen by the cameras of’Athlé TV and from Sport in France, now attracts athletes from the national and international circuit, but retains a Bellifontaine speciality: the afternoon opens with the young people and the parasport before the main meeting gets underway in the evening.

The course of the day

The day is divided into three parts, from day to night:

• 16.00 - 17.45: UNSS inter-academy challenge. Sports sections from secondary schools in the Paris region take to the track. It's the perfect time to see future talent in meeting conditions.
• 6.00 pm - 6.45 pm: Partners' mixed relay. A festive opening event, with teams of five male and female runners formed by partner companies and associations.
• 7pm - 10pm: International meeting. The heart of the event. The main events continue until the end of the evening, under floodlights.

The programme for the main meeting

The evening meeting features the classic track and field disciplines for both men and women:

• Women : 100m, 200m, 100m hurdles, 3000m steeplechase, javelin, long jump.
• Men: 100m, 200m, 110m hurdles, 3,000m steeplechase, javelin, long jump.

The middle-distance and steeplechase events, traditionally spectacular at the end of the evening, are one of the highlights of this year's event. The javelin and long distances are run in parallel on the side areas, so you can switch from one discipline to the other without missing a thing of what's happening on the track.

Parasport and adapted sport, the meeting's DNA

One thing sets this meeting apart from others: the a place for parasport and adapted sport. The Department has made this one of the main thrusts of its project, and several events welcome para-athletes alongside able-bodied athletes. For the public, it's a rare opportunity to see champions from different categories sharing the same track and the same audience on the same evening.

Good to know before you come

The entrance is free of charge, The event is open to all, with no need to register in advance. The stadium has grandstands, but you are advised to arrive early enough for the evening meeting if you want a seat. The site is about a twenty-minute walk from Fontainebleau-Avon station, or accessible by car via the Route de l'Ermitage.
