A pub like no other on Rue Grande
If you go through the Rue Grande, you're bound to come across The Office. From the outside, you might think it's a classic pub, but once inside, it's a real place where life unfolds: you eat, you play, you work, and in the evening, the atmosphere goes up a notch.
Why go there
The Office has found an original niche in Fontainebleau by combining restoration, bar, games and coworking in the same space. During the day, it's a great spot for lunch or setting up with a computer with Wi-Fi available. Evenings and weekends are a different story: pool, darts, shuffleboard, video games, and major matches broadcast on screen. It also organises stand-up evenings and concerts.
The food is simple and effective pub fare. On Sundays, the brunch (11am to 3pm) attracts a lot of people, so it's a good idea if you're in the area.
When to go
On weekdays, from Tuesday lunchtime for a quiet lunch or to work. Friday and Saturday evenings are for fun and games. And on Sunday brunch. Closed on Mondays.
