Fontainebleau Crashpads is the French crash-pad specialist for bouldering in the Fontainebleau forest. With over 100 crash pads in stock, The company offers a wide range of protective mattresses suitable for all levels of climbers, from beginners to experts.
The establishment has a central agency located at 179 rue Grande in Fontainebleau and a 250m² shop dedicated to climbing. This dual location effectively covers the needs of local climbers and visitors.
Product range and prices
The rental is organised around attractive sliding-scale tariffs : starting at €10 per day, with discounts of 20% for a week and up to 30% for a fortnight. The offer includes well-known models such as the Black Diamond Circuit, Snap Grand Guts and Mondoto meet different protection needs.
In addition to crash pads, the company also offers rentals of guidebooks, climbing shoes, magnesia, brushes and poles to create a complete package.
Practical services
A service of drop-off/pick-up at SNCF stations is available by appointment at the Bois-le-Rois, Fontainebleau, Bourron and Nemours stations, facilitating access for climbers arriving by train from Paris.
The’flexibility option allows customers to change pad models upon arrival, subject to availability, and even drop them off at another branch upon return, offering considerable flexibility.
Opening hours are from 10 am to 6 pm on weekdays and up to 7 p.m. at weekendswith a secure payment online or in person by credit card or in cash.
