At Halloween, Fontainebleau town centre becomes a playground for little monsters. The’Fontainebleau Traders’ Association (UCAIF) invites families to come along Republic Square for two events that complement each other perfectly: one candy hunt in the shops in the town centre and a fancy dress competition.
The idea behind the treasure hunt is simple: first, you pop round to the Traders’ Association’s stand to pick up the map, then you set off to explore the participating retailers. A lovely way to explore the shopping streets with the children, and perhaps pop into shops you hadn’t come across before.
As for the fancy dress competition, young and old alike are invited to put on their best costumes. Three age groups are in place to ensure that very young children do not find themselves face to face with the most resourceful teenagers.
The afternoon fits perfectly into the programme Halloween: Haunted Fontainebleau, and that very evening, teenagers and adults can keep the thrills going at the Halloween party at the Charité Royale media centre.
Meet at Place de la République from 2.30 pm. Full details are available on the Facebook page of the Fontainebleau Traders’ Association.
A few words are enough, I reply personally.
