Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, and the Charité Royale Media Library takes advantage of it. The Saturday 31 October at 6.00 pm, at 15 Rue Royale, the evening is dedicated to a selection of board games chosen to send shivers down your spine, presented by the association «La Mallette».
In recent years, board games have produced a whole range of horror-themed experiences, from cooperative investigations in dimly lit manor houses to games of betrayal where you can no longer tell who’s on whose side. They’re far more effective than a film at creating a sense of unease, because the threat comes from the players sitting opposite you.
The evening is on offer aged 12 and over. The Minors must be accompanied by an adult on the spot, which sorts out the issue of the parent who thought they would drop their child off and come back later.
