Le Salon Impérial Chocolat returns to the Château de Fontainebleau for its eighth edition on 29 and 30 November 2025. This gourmet event brings together around fifteen leading chocolatiers and twenty fine food artisans from France and abroad in the prestigious rooms of the château, in an exceptional historical setting.
The show offers a full programme of events : chocolate-making demonstrations by master chocolatiers, gourmet tastings, an exhibition of chocolate sculptures on artistic themes, sensory workshops to discover the subtleties of cocoa, and educational lectures on the history and production of chocolate. Families can enjoy workshops specially designed for children and a chocolate mousse bar.
The show is taking over the most prestigious spaces of the castle: the Galerie des Cerfs with its Renaissance frescoes, the Salle des Colonnes with its neoclassical décor, and the Cour Ovale transformed into a veritable gourmet market. This exceptional setting in places usually closed to the public gives the event a unique dimension.
The seven previous editions have enjoyed growing success, attracting thousands of food lovers. The 2024 edition featured demonstrations of Saint-Honoré with Vanuatu chocolate, lectures on cocoa plantations in Madagascar, and an exhibition of sculptures on the theme of hunting with hounds in the Galerie des Cerfs.
