Grand Parquet in Fontainebleau

Recognised as one of the most beautiful equestrian competition venues in Europe, The Grand Parquet is an internationally renowned equestrian stadium located on the outskirts of Paris. 26 hectares in the heart of the Fontainebleau forest. The site is home to over 350,000 visitors a year with 107 days of events and can receive up to 10,000 people depending on the event.

Outstanding infrastructure

The site has’Olympic-standard equipment : 6 courts, including a 12,000 m² grass centre court with 1,125 grandstand seats, several fibre-reinforced sand quarries, 237 permanent boxes, and cross-country tracks. The facilities are ideal for three Olympic disciplines as well as para-riding in an exceptional natural environment.

Equestrian events and demonstrations

The Grand Parquet hosts events throughout the year, including national and international competitions : Fontainebleau Show Jumping, International Eventing Competition, Spring Equestrian Sports, Grande Semaine de l'Élevage (Breeding Week). In addition to horse riding, the site also organises flea markets, nature shows, cani-cross competitions and beach rugby tournaments, often in free access.
