From 1921the château de Fontainebleau welcomes teachers and students from the American Art Schools, these institutions which uphold the French approach to teaching in the fields of music and architecture. From the 30 June to 25 July 2026, this connection, which dates back more than a century, continues with the «Musique & Architecture» festival.
For nearly a month, talented young artists from all over the world work alongside today’s leading artists and showcase their creations in the the castle’s most beautiful interiors : the Chapel of the Trinity, the Ballroom and the Salle des Colonnes.
On the programme: concertsand masterclasses, open rehearsals and guided tours. A rare opportunity to hear the music resonate in the very place where it has been performed for centuries, and to meet the next generation of virtuosos and architects.
