Travellers and walkers passing through the Fontainebleau-Avon station these next few weeks will be full of surprises. Until 28 April 2026, 30 large-format photographs are taking over the green spaces around the station, offering an immersion into the world of the Spring Equestrian Sports.
This open-air exhibition, presented by GL events Equestrian Sport, celebrates equestrian excellence in the heart of the Fontainebleau region. The photographs capture the intensity of the international show jumping, dressage and eventing competitions held each year at the Fontainebleau region. Grand Parquet, one of the most prestigious equestrian stadiums in Europe.
The location chosen is not insignificant. It reminds us that Fontainebleau is only 40 minutes by Transilien from Paris Gare de Lyon, the cultural and sporting gateway to the region. During the Spring Equestrian Sports 2026 (from 16 to 26 April), free shuttle buses will run from the station to the Grand Parquet on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
This installation is part of a series of photographic exhibitions organised by Fontainebleau Tourism in and around the station. After Éléonore Henry de Frahan's «Émotions Sportives» (Cultural Olympiad 2024), new exhibitions are planned throughout the year.
The exhibition is open to the public 24 hours a day, outside Fontainebleau-Avon station. Until 28 April 2026.
