This has become the must-attend spring sports event in Avon. For its 9th edition, L'Avonnaise is once again taking over the Parc de Bel-Ébat on Sunday 29 March 2026, for a morning of sport and festivities open to all ages and abilities.
Created in 2018 by the association Tac-Tam (Tout Avon Court, Tout Avon Marche) and now organised by the’Avon Athletics Club, the race brought together more than 1,000 participants in 2025. The hilly and varied route between town and forest will appeal to both experienced runners and families.
The day's programme offers a wide choice of activities: an early-learning athletics event (600m) for the youngest children, races for the under-18s (800m) and under-15s (2.5km) for the youngsters, then 5 km and 10 km for adults. A course of 10 km Nordic walk is also available. Visit Relais Guillaume Braque (4 x 2.5 km) is an opportunity to show solidarity: all registration fees are donated to the League against cancer.
A new feature of this year's event is that the organisers will be providing 2 wheelchairs, This is a clear demonstration of the company's commitment to accessibility.
The start/finish village will keep the park alive all morning, with physiotherapists, sports activities for children, sweet and savoury snacks, prize-giving ceremonies and surprises. The first start is at 8h50 (Nordic walking), the last at 11h40.
Register on the Adeorun platform. Prices: from free (early years) to EUR 24 (10km and relay). Numbers can be collected at Parc de Bel-Ébat on Saturday 28 March from 2pm to 6pm, and on Sunday from 8am. Free parking.
Eco-responsible approach: the souvenir T-shirt is optional (+€5), to limit the environmental impact.
