Two craftsmen, two skills, a joint exhibition in Fontainebleau. From 4 March to 3 May 2026, Pascale Blin and Jean-Yves Coutand present their creations in a dialogue between botanical gilding and the woodturning.
Pascale Blin is a gilding artist. She works with gold leaf on botanical motifs of great finesse, at the crossroads of decorative art and contemporary creation. Her works play on light, relief and the delicacy of plants sublimated by precious metal.
Jean-Yves Coutand is a woodturner. He transforms local and noble woods into sculpted objects with organic shapes, where the raw material reveals all its natural beauty. His pieces, which are somewhere between utilitarian objects and works of art, celebrate craftsmanship and respect for the material.
The exhibition invites visitors to discover two complementary approaches to working with materials, in a spirit of patient, demanding creation that is the hallmark of arts and crafts in the Pays de Fontainebleau.
From 4 March to 3 May 2026, in Fontainebleau. Exact venue and times: ask at the Tourist Office.
