La Royal Charity of Fontainebleau from 31 March 2026 the Horse Fortnight, An event that celebrates the central role of the horse in the history and identity of the Pays de Fontainebleau.
Fontainebleau is often referred to as the «city of the« Capital of the Horse »This is no coincidence. For centuries, horse riding has been inseparable from the imperial city: the’Military Riding School has been established here since the 19th century, the Grand Parquet hosts top-level international competitions every year, and the forest offers exceptional riding terrain.
This exhibition is part of the spring equestrian highlight at Fontainebleau, which will also see the Spring Equestrian Sports at the Grand Parquet in April (international dressage, 5-star show jumping, Master Pro FFE).
