border: none; border-top: 1px solid #e2e8f0;\">\n\n<h2 id=\"chateau\" style=\"margin-top: 1.4em;\">An exceptional ch\u00e2teau<\/h2>\n\n<p>\n  Le <a href=\"https:\/\/fontyblog.fr\/en\/places\/fontainebleau-castle\/\" target=\"_blank\">ch\u00e2teau de Fontainebleau<\/a> is an extraordinary piece of architecture.  \n  <strong>Good to know:<\/strong> it welcomed all the French sovereigns of the XIII<sup>e<\/sup> in the XIX<sup>e<\/sup> This historical continuity is unique in France,\n  It is the only castle to have been inhabited by 34 kings and 2 emperors.  \n<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"background:#f8f9fa; border-left:4px solid #226d68; padding:0.9em 1.2em; border-radius:6px; margin:1.2em 0;\">\n  <p><strong>Useful information :<\/strong><\/p>\n  <ul style=\"margin:0.3em 0 0.3em 1.2em;\">\n    <li>Open every day except Tuesday, from <strong>9.30 a.m. to 6 p.m.<\/strong> from April to September, and <strong>9.30 a.m. to 5 p.m.<\/strong> from October to March.<\/li>\n    <li>A free left-luggage office is available to leave your bags and personal belongings during your visit.<\/li>\n    <li>For a bite to eat, <a href=\"https:\/\/fontyblog.fr\/en\/places\/monument-cafe-restaurant-du-chateau-de-fontainebleau\/\" target=\"_blank\">the Monument Caf\u00e9<\/a> offers a range of packages.  \n        <strong>I'm a fan of Sunday brunch<\/strong> with a view of the Etang aux Carpes.<\/li>\n  <\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n<p>\n  It's not unusual for me to go there early in the morning, before the castle opens, to enjoy the peace and quiet and the reflections on the water.  \n  For me, this suspended moment when the light illuminates the fa\u00e7ades remains one of the most beautiful sights in Fontainebleau.  \n<\/p>\n\n<p style=\"font-size:0.95rem;
