In the meantime, to make the most of the evenings in Fontainebleau, here are a few restaurants, bars and nightclubs to give you a flavour of the city's nightlife.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This charming pedestrian street is packed with excellent restaurants. La Petite Ardoise<\/strong>for example, into a sure bet: refined bistro cuisine that's always fresh and tasty. A big hit with my travellers! (It has to be said that my studios are just a 1-minute walk away, so it really is the best value for money!) If you're looking for a more intimate and unique experience, I recommend Viva Vino<\/strong>A cellar restaurant specialising in live wines. With just 5 tables, it's the perfect place to share fresh dishes in a warm atmosphere. Note that David and Elodie speak English (and Elodie German too). L'Axel<\/strong>is the city's Michelin star, offering refined gastronomic cuisine combining French tradition with Japanese influences. Finally, to complete the picture of 'specialities', Casa Azul offers Tex-Mex street food with subtle and surprising flavours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n First of all, you should know that this street is perpendicular to rue Montebello... So there's already a plan in place for the evening, isn't there? A little further on, in the rue de la Corne (well, far is relative, it's a 2-minute walk), dance fans will be seduced by Le Mojito Club<\/strong> with its salsa classes and unique Caribbean atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For a drink in a surprising setting, discover Le Swing Bar<\/strong> (63 rue Grande). This little-known cultural caf\u00e9, despite its porch overlooking the rue Grande, with its inner courtyard a little ramshackle like so many of Fontainebleau's backyards, is shaded in summer by lime trees and is perfect for an evening out with friends. Jazz concerts are frequent, see their programme. And if you don't fancy a variety of places to eat and drink, the terraces of the Place Napol\u00e9on Bonaparte<\/strong> should make your day: sit back and enjoy the view of the illuminated carousel from start to finish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Ready to explore Fontainebleau's nightlife?
