The Golf de Fontainebleau, recognised as one of the most beautiful courses in France, offers a real adventure between rocks, heather, broom and bunkers. Inaugurated in 1909, it is one of the oldest golf courses in France. It is located in the heart of the Fontainebleau forest, 800 metres from the town, on the former imperial hunting grounds. The course is characterised by its relatively narrow fairways, lined with trees of various species. It is defended by 103 fine sand bunkers and thick undergrowth that make it so charming and challenging, offering a symphony of colours and scents depending on the season.
